Over the years I have purchased at least 25 little giraffe throws as kids gifts for friends and grandchildren. I think deluxe velvet comforter is overpriced and I was wrong thinking it was deluxe material. My granddaughter didn't like this texture as she prefers the softness of her luxurious faux fur, which now costs around $100. Luxury material has risen sharply in price in recent years. My grandchildren (ages 8, 6 and 4) still use their original blankets and over the years we've bought extra ones as they prefer to take these blankets in the car or to bed. You have to buy them from the store because then you can see what material you are buying.
