I used to use a back and neck pillow which I was very happy with but after a hard bath for a while but the tailbone would start to shut pains. Despite my embarrassment, I have to say that I had my first case of hemorrhoids (not bathroom related) and they were INCREDIBLY painful. As if I had to sit on my ass! This bath mat saved my life. I can lie still for hours. Cleaning/Drying Tips: As mentioned by other reviews, the hook is tiny and almost unusable. I just taped mine to the wall (I have smooth walls). It dries well and doesn't drip onto the bathroom floor. While it's hanging on the wall, I spray it to remove fine hairs stuck in the web and any soap or body oil residue. I would highly recommend it to other bathers. Goes great with Netflix and wine!
