These pants are very soft, and the pattern on them is clear and nicely defined, but they run quite small. If they didn't stretch as well as they do, I would have had to return them!My body is shaped like an apple on two pretzel sticks. I could probably get away with ordering a size large if my gut wasn't so big! Normally, a 2X fits my waist with room to spare, but when I first took these pants out of the packaging it looked like the waist would barely fit around one of my legs. I heated them up in my dryer, and then stretched the waist of the pants across a dresser drawer and allowed them to cool. That helped and I was able to get them on, but I still wouldn't wear them with anything other than a long shirt.The legs are also several inches too long. Clearly, the manufacturer thinks that their entire customer base here is 5'8" or taller, and as skinny as a bean pole. Newsflash: people come in ALL shapes and sizes!In the end, these seem to be pretty decent pants, but if you have a fat belly, I would advise you to order a size up. And if you're like me, and there aren't higher sizes, I would recommend that you either try the dryer trick, or order your pajama pants elsewhere.
