Review on Hastings Leather Casual Natural Men's Belts - Premium Damen Accessories by Dre Fishburne

I have had really good belts for years. And I've had a lot of lousy belts. This belt from Damen + Hastings is considered one of the best. It's well made, thick leather, with a nice buckle. The buckle is called a roller buckle, which means that there is a "roller" at the end of the buckle, allowing the belt's leather to roll over the buckle instead of rubbing against it. This will help preserve the buckle's finish and reduce friction on the belt. A red + sign is sewn near the buckle - apparently this is how the company identifies its belt. This belt is a great dark brown that they call espresso. Unlike most other belts, this one has LOTS of holes at the end, allowing it to fit a variety of waists. The company doesn't say in their listing WHAT big or small (or other sizes) actually mean - maybe future listings will show that - but with more holes you can safely conclude that if you have other belts it should fit. with these designations. It may be a little more expensive than some other companies' belts, but it's very well made, thick leather, and will last for years with proper care. (Oddly enough, the description says it can be hand washed. That's probably not the case with this belt - I'd be much more comfortable cleaning this belt with saddle soap.) I love this belt and it might become one of my favorites.
