Although this belt is called a 'heavy belt', I wear it with my suit. The slightly matte buckle and black leather are appropriate and understated for professional attire. It's not top-notch formal wear, but it looks really good without too much effort. If you wear cufflinks, this belt may not be for you. Even if you really need a heavy sling for heavy objects (like firearms or tools), this sling isn't particularly suitable. It's soft and comfortable and not stiff at all, meaning its weight distribution is virtually zero and it sags. For something light or with a lot of pens (phone, belt holster for a smaller gun) I don't really find it important, but for a "heavy" belt it's too soft. how soft it is. It is almost soft and comfortable for everyday wear. As a belt for pants, jeans, and pants, this is a great and affordable leather belt that looks better than its price. Just manage your expectations of what you mean by heavy duty. It's not for hard work. The size is perfect. Just order your size and you'll be fine. The seams seem to last a long time, I like the buckle too. I expect to be wearing this in ten years.
