This is a light weight mirror with good magnification. The suction cups don't hold. It has fallen off the vanity mirror more than once in the middle of the night. The reason for my appreciation of this mirror is primarily due to the light. Very dim, sometimes not illuminating the face in the mirror at all. It drains new batteries within a week and uses them for about 30 minutes each day (changed twice in two weeks). At first I thought it wasn't a problem because the vanity lights would probably work instead of the mirror lights. However, once you're close enough to zoom in, the vanity lights will be blocked by your head. If the lighting was better I would give a better rating.
