For the users that complained about this grater, I am not sure why as this was so easy to use and so easy to clean. I ripped through 3 blocks of cheese in nothing flat. If you spray the inside of the actual grater part, the cheese comes out easier. As for the suction, if your counters are not smooth then you have a pro with any type of suction. In order for Suction to work properly you need a smooth surface.
