Screen protectors will naturally get mixed reviews. It's hard to make a product that requires patience, skill, or common sense. I have never installed a skin protector on a device in my life. I had several smartphones and a few tablets. I'm not clumsy and I've never felt the need to protect my screens. However, with this massive iPad Pro, I really wanted some texture and resistance when painting, so I went with this protector. Supershieldz includes 3 protectors but I was able to get it in one try. 1st attempt - no bubbles, no dust and centered. without experience. I don't understand the "rainbow" effect these Revain reviews are talking about. After a few minutes of research, I found out that this effect is caused by cleaning the screen surface with the wrong type of liquid. This leaves a mark when dry and remains between the iPad and the protector. I use Screen Mom because it's 99% plant-based and free from alcohol, ammonia, and other chemicals. To apply this screen protector, you really need to be patient. Seriously, prepare your screen properly and you'll get what you paid for. Tip: Do not hold the iPad directly under your head, this will reduce the amount of dust touching the screen. You can go to the Supershieldz YouTube video and watch it a few times before you start. I get NO "rainbow" effect. The protector does not reduce the screen's resolution or picture quality, but it does reduce the brightness somewhat. The matte feel on the Apple Pencil is nice, and I see some of that texture on the screen as a result. This problem is most likely caused by dirt and oil that just needs regular cleaning. Is it like paper and pencil? No, but it's perfectly normal. It just gives it some texture and resilience (similar to writing on very thin and smooth computer paper). This is a quality product and I was able to use it in a trial with no prior experience.
