After our plastic lid/pan holder broke I bought this metal one to replace it. Honestly it's a great product and is 100% made of metal so no concerns of it breaking. The only thing I wish it had was just few more separators included or offered to be sold separately. The coating on the separators are nice and I'm not worried about it scratching up the lids/pans. The only way it could be more sturdy is if used treaded screws to hold to the two bases in place. I made sure two separators where used to hold the bases together as one didn't seem like a good idea. The separators aren't too difficult to set or take off which made me think two was needed to avoid accidental base separation.
