They're not really 2-cup bowls.
The bowls are great! The lids are beautiful and comfortable, wash like a dream and don't corrode like plastic so you can use them forever! UNFORTUNATELY they didn't last as long as the plastic I used. To test, I filled one to the brim and measured the volume: 1/3/4 cup! And it leaves no air space or room for bubbles when heated. So practically, they hold 1 1/2 cups at best. Others might not care, but bringing leftovers to work with this definitely makes me want more.
