I installed this on the handlebars of my 01 Shadow Spirit 1100 it holds my Galaxy S8 in its otter almost perfectly if there is a downside that the rubber straps the rear block camera so I can't take video of the trip but with a phone that has a different camera position which may not be a problem for others. Update: This holder actually works, I hit a deer at 50 mph and the phone is still in the holder and I was able to reach him to immediately dial 911 for my injuries. This phone holder helped me call an ambulance quickly. Although, to be safe, you should probably skip everything about hitting a deer and just be aware that if you plug your phone into the device properly, it's going nowhere.
