Despite being a very acute angle, the incline is noticeable, but nothing egregious.On another note, the cover is a bit rough, so I would suggest using this mattress underneath your main mattress (rather than over it). Luckily, the cover is also removable and machine-washable, and you might have trouble finding a fitted sheet for it.
