excellent for the price
I have used this device several times. The overall value for money seems to indicate that this is a good little item for 'on the short money'. I am interested in longevity. I don't like the remote control: it's boring, very small and has too many buttons <for my use> as a player. The sound at maximum (20) is quite quiet, but not annoying; I can use external speakers. All in all, it's very good at around $50 (and the accessories (headphones, case, etc.) are a nice addition. If you're looking for a cheap player, it works well.
