I don't really want to use my old SCSI device on my PC, I just wanted to transfer some files from my old computer. But since my old computer can't burn CDs or handle USB or Ethernet connections and my new computer can't read floppy disks and I had an external SCSI hard drive (backup) for my old computer, this was possible. but an expensive solution. Now for the details they never include in sales information: According to the manual, it can only work with one device at a time. If you chain multiple devices, only the first one will be implemented. The power comes from the end device and not all devices work. You may need an external power adapter (not included). Luckily I didn't. SCSI 1 and SCSI 2 devices use different connectors, so you may also need an adapter (I had one). After installing the device driver for the converter, you must also install the drivers for your SCSI device(s) from the Internet. This should happen automatically on reboot and reconnect. In my case I also had to find and install an emulator to work with the file system (Gemexplore). Account and FTP files through my website.
