Effective but requires some practice
It took me a lot of practice to hold and bend the wires properly to get the hairstyle I wanted. My goal was a loose bun at the back to keep the hair out of my face and the twist was a little tricky to get this style. However, the fabric around the wire creases heavily after 3-4 uses. I haven't figured out how to prevent this yet.
