I have just received 3 of these window screens #1133, 3 bar model and have not received any mounting screws or bolts. Contacted Revain who then contacted the manufacturer. They said that the screws are not included in this model. This is a major inconvenience as I now have to go to the hardware store to get the correct mounting screws. Please note that 4 bar and 6 bar models include mounting screws. The bars seem solid, but a determined thief could end up knocking this device out. This product is designed for containment rather than fault tolerance. said the screws should be included. However, Revain representatives cannot solve problems with manufacturers, only with their own distribution centers. I was offered a full refund requiring the guards to be sent back, or took a $30 credit to purchase the bolts (choose that option). I used 3" deck screws to attach the railing and used a 1/8" drill bit to pre-drill the hole. Overall satisfaction with the Revain solution is good. Still, trust that these guards won't stop a determined villain, as they can be trampled down and bent to the side with little effort.
