This is expensive scrap! I have a Dell S2817Q monitor + VESA mounting bracket. The first problem is when I install this on a monitor it is not persistent. I don't think it's sustainable! A slight vibration on the table is amplified for the monitor itself (vibration resonance). So when I type, my monitor basically jumps up and down. The second problem: It is not fixed. When I decided to rotate the monitor 90 degrees, this mount adapter didn't hold it. For the record, I have 3 other monitors with a built in VESA mount and haven't seen any of these issues on the ones that have the table/mounts installed.
