Based on the sizing recommendation and what I've read in some reviews, I got the XS for my 16-18lb Coton de Tulear dogs (about the size of a Havana sheep) bought. They are currently shaved into a very short summer cut as they got matted during a trip so I figured they would definitely fit. BUT they are definitely too small. It takes a lot of effort to pull them over my paws and then I'm afraid my circulation will stop. I'm going to put a recent photo of one of them and a photo of one of their paws in my hand for reference, which is quite small. If you're hesitant about which size to take (and I was), I would go up a size. Hope this helps someone!
