I LOVE this brush set - great value for money. Dense fibers!

This is the fifth set of oval makeup brushes I have bought and I will never go back. When I first discovered oval or serrated makeup brushes, I thought they were such a fun and weird shape for makeup brushes. but i was curious so i decided to give them a try. I was afraid to actually take them out of the box and use them on my face. In fact, I now regret that I didn't get them sooner. These brushes, despite the fact that they seem a little odd, are pretty darn beautiful. They blend well, absorb more product and leave a flawless finish. Seriously, I swear they cut my beauty prep time down. Compared to standard brushes they probably have around 4-10 times more fibers depending on what brush it is (obviously different brushes have different functions). The reason for more densely packed fibers is that they look like an ultra-compact brush head that holds more colors and blends more efficiently. The handle and neck are made of plastic and textured overlays. They are light and easy to handle, and the neck is slightly curved to better define the face. They use synthetic fibers that offer a more even texture than animal hair brushes - I was a bit skeptical at first considering some of my favorite makeup brushes are made out of animal hair, but they're even better. The fibers are very soft, which surprised me positively. I didn't expect these brushes to blow me out of the water, but they definitely did. While I like some of the brushes in this collection more than others, I was blown away and impressed by what each of them can do. What I appreciate most is that each brush can be used in a variety of ways and they look and feel very high quality. Another great aspect of these brushes is that you can create a complete look with just these brushes. Application: When I first tried these brushes, I applied the foundation with my fingertips and then blended it in with the foundation brush in gentle, circular motions. It was beautiful and there was no tightening of the skin. I couldn't believe how soft and even it blended into my foundation. Mixing my foundation took less than a minute. and everything went fine. I used number 6 for this (third largest in the set). I then applied highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones and blended it in with number 4 using soft circular strokes. Again . flawlessly applied. I then applied some concealer under my eyes and then blended it into Oval 4. I used a back and forth motion closer to my eye and a circular motion as I went down. Alternatively, you can use Oval 3, which is slightly smaller, for this. These bristles are very soft and do a great job on any task. Then I applied the shadow to the entire lid again with number 3. Although these brushes look bulky, they actually offer a lot of control, which really shocked me. My eye shadow applied perfectly in seconds. For my crease I used the Circle 1 brush - I rarely wear eyeshadow but this did a great job of application. I was also able to apply this color in seconds and it blends immediately. I hardly work. it is so perfect and easy to blend. Out of all the brushes, this is one of my favorites and I really thought I wouldn't bother too much with it because it looks so bulky. I'm really in love with these brushes. They're affordable, durable and most importantly, THEY WORK. These brushes are definitely one of my top favorites and definitely worth the price. They're dense - which is key for makeup brushes like these - they're soft, which is also important because you're putting them on your face - and they're nice and flexible on your neck, which is great because you want these types of brushes to be able to curve and follow the curve of your face when applying makeup. The color isn't crazy like the pinks I have so I can keep them in my bathroom and they won't look out of place or weird. They are very easy to clean and what I like best about these types of brushes is that you don't have to use a lot, a lot of makeup. You can use them with liquid makeup or solid concealer - I really like the concealer brush because you can just squeeze, squeeze, apply concealer to the spot and don't have to look super cakey or unnatural. A large brush that I like to use with powder and really makes for a flawless finishing touch. I also use long, oblong, thinner brow powder brushes and it just helps add a little more charm and fill in your brows without looking like you sprayed them on or used a magic marker. I use the third largest blush brush and I love that you can just apply a little and it doesn't look like a kid dressed as a clown climbing into his mom's makeup drawer. I bought a brush. Use a cleansing makeup pad to use with my oval brushes and it really helps keep them nice and clean - use a mild facial soap, dampen a little and rub a very, very much , very small amount of olive oil in the bristles to keep the brushes soft. Make sure to wring them out as best you can and make sure they are completely dry before using them again. "I think they would be a great addition to a stocking gift or a Christmas bag or Secret Santa gift. Thanks very much!
