Amazing.Period. in Servingware

Where has this item been all my life?! I actually seem to have seen a similar product on TicTok which prompted me to look for it and after a long search I found it at a reasonable price. This! We are avid oil consumers and typically store our oil in glass jars on the counter. When I saw that and thought about the basic design, it was an impulse buy. The box was damaged in transit, but the container was packed so well that it didn't matter. The container comes with a base and a lid. The base has a black line on the side for the water level, and the top holds a full pack of oil. I live in Michigan, so our room temperature never gets warm enough for the butter to get very soft. However, this product makes it spreadable. For example, much more than cutting a square off a block and tearing the bread into pieces while it's still soft. I find the instructions too safe. We always leave butter at room temperature and it has never gone bad. It recommends no more than five days. We've had the same oil for weeks without spoiling. I would suggest changing the water every three days as recommended, although crumbs and other debris can get in. I love this product so much I have ordered four more for family members this Christmas! I highly recommend this hidden gem of a kitchen!

Pros
  • Love French Country Charm: Inspired by freshly whipped cream butter, this butter dish looks as good as the butter tastes. Vintage gray with a slight sheen embellishes every kitchen, every sideboard or every dining table.
Cons
  • Something else
