Apply sparingly the first time
I have used it twice for arthritis pain and it has worked very well. It didn't completely eliminate the pain, but it was enough for me to do housework and walk my dog, so I'd recommend it. I would advise moderation when using it but the first time I used it I used it quite liberally and had some side effects, headaches and tasted a bit like garlic!
