I needed a set of thinner and faster drying towels so these fit me. The reason there is so much lint left in the first few washes is because one side is cut from velor and not rolled like most towels. My advice when drying them for the first time is to set the dryer for no more than 20 minutes at a time. Also check the lint filter. Even after my towels were dry, I ran them without heat to "catch" as much lint as possible. I have washed and dried (6) of these and cleaned a very full screen of lint about 4 times. Despite all this, I am sure that I will benefit from it in the long term. They are thin but dry well and are soft.
