Disappointed in headphones

I have always loved Sennheiser products and have high hopes for the HD 350BT. Unfortunately they are not worth their price of 100โ‚ฌ and more. Best Suited For: I have a medium sized adult head with medium sized human ears. These headphones don't seem to have been made for me. They're tight, and whatever the official description says, they're "on the ear," not "on the ear." The headband has almost no padding so you can really feel it pressing against your skull. In short, they make me uncomfortable. They may expand over time, but I can only judge by what I see now. Sound: flat. They are more like studio monitors. The sound is soft and uninteresting. Sennheiser has an app for this: Sennheiser Smart Control. Someone needs to be slammed for wasting disk space. The only thing it has is an "equalizer". This gives you 3 handles to move around. It reminded me of the "woman's thermostat" that isn't connected to anything. (Sorry.) The app downloads and installs the latest firmware, but the equalizer is boring. Features: On paper, the HD 350BT is a dream. It features USB-C, transparent listening, low-latency Bluetooth codecs, and more. It doesn't have active noise cancellation or any sort of audio jack. You may be able to use a USB-C to 3.5mm cable, but I haven't tried it. Conclusion: I was inclined to like everything from Sennheiser and I'm really disappointed that I couldn't justify keeping them. But at a retail price of $100, they just can't compete. Instead, I recommend Bluedio T7+ ($32) or Anker Soundcore Life Q20 ($50) (all prices as of 05/01/2021).
