Although the socks are comfortable, they are nothing like the ones you buy at a running store. I bought these socks because my husband allowed me to wear store bought ones and I really liked them. I ordered the exact same thing and immediately realized that they are different. Bought in the store, they are more contoured in the midfoot and offer slight compression and comfort. Due to arthritis in both feet I found these socks were just what I needed. The socks I received were just socks. My husband even noticed and could easily tell they weren't the same. The packaging was exactly the same but there was no sock. I'm borrowing my men again until I get to the store.
