Yes, it's a lot, but it's a Disney product. You cannot find it in stores unless you are in Japan. It's not just one plate, but 3 plates, 2 cutlery and a tray. Try buying them separately. Like a bowl of Minnie Mouse, a fork and a spoon Minnie. It's not cheap, is it? The only thing is that I would like them to be silicone but then they wouldn't hold up and wouldn't stay in their compartments. I love this for my daughter. I can split the food so she has 3 dishes to choose from. Very nice but if you have price issues look elsewhere.
