Cute butterfly palette with pink ring holder makes me smile in the morning. Easy to clean, more than enough space for mixing liquids or applying liquid foundation/other for brush/sponge etc but not too big easy to fit in makeup bag. Feels strong/rigid. He may not use the tool provided - metal to metal so it can scratch the butterfly, but it's there if you need it. Comes with a snap-lock plastic case for storage. I cut off the part that holds the tool - just make the mistake of cutting off less and you should be fine. Highly recommend if you are looking for a makeup palette.
