Glowing beautifully. You can choose between a softer yellowish tinge and a blue tint. It spins slowly and comes with additional sheets of other designs, but we love the stars on the blue background the most. It lights up the whole room with stars, but it's still dark enough to sleep. You can stop spinning and cover it with the included transparent lid and only get a soft glow. I just love it. You can either use batteries (we tried them and they lasted almost a week! And they lasted all night) or you can plug them in and not worry about batteries. It can be for a girl or boy of any age! As a mother, I even liked it! Ha! I read the reviews and when I bought it we loved it! I personally think this might be the best night light and would definitely recommend it!
