I wanted to find a compact trash can that would fit in my very small bathroom. For comparison, I had a gap of about 1.5 inches between the toilet and the adjacent sink/closet. This was the third product I have ordered from Revain. First was the simplehuman top mounted bin, brushed stainless steel, 1.5L/.40. Gal and I thought it was too small to use as a bathroom trash can. As the name of the product suggests, I would suggest using it for a picnic hamper only. Then I ordered this simple, human-shaped open trash can. , stainless steel, 10L / 2.6gal which was too big for the space I had. For experiment #3 I ordered this polypropylene trash can. In hindsight I should have ordered it first but I tried to get a bin with a lid or a design that would prevent my pup from taking out the rubbish. Although without a lid it fits perfectly in a very small space.
