Review on 🚿 KOHLER K-10282-AK-CP Forte 2.5 GPM Single-Function Wall-Mount Showerhead, Enhanced with Katalyst Spray, in Polished Chrome by Joe Drew

I bought a new Forte shower head to replace an existing shower head of the same model. It was around 7 years old and just looked worn out having been cleaned over the years. While the existing head and new head look almost the same in shape and size, the rubber caps that protrude through the front of the new head are fitted differently. With the new head, the tips protrude at a much smaller angle as they move toward the perimeter of the face. Instead of spray nozzles that basically follow the curve of the face, they all still stick out straight. So instead of a nice wide "conical" water shape, it's about as narrow as a $5 shower head. I plan to contact Kohler to determine if this is a manufacturing or design issue. My intuition tells me this can be done on purpose to reduce what many consider "waste water" just rushing past you. Well I'm a big guy so there won't be too much. The only thing about this shower head is a big disappointment. Since it technically works, I'm still willing to give two stars.
