They are bright and great value. For the price, they are by far the best underwater lights I've played with. I actually use four of these lights underwater with an SLR camera and together they give you the same brightness as a fancy $300 dive video light but at a fraction of the price. The light attaches to the hot shoe mount and this connection may come loose (and the light will fall off). So make sure the light is fully attached and you will hear a "click" or it may come off under water. Color filters are useless as they are too weak, but the light itself is true white so they are not needed.
