Severe? Yes. Will he survive the journey? Yes. When I work, I always wear cut-resistant gloves. This little guy has been hanging on since day one. Put it on the belt loop and it won't let go. Let him hold your gloves and they won't fall out. Aside from pulling them yourself, I highly doubt most people will ever lose a glove with them at work. You are not one-handed. Kind of fits the territory, but it's a bit awkward to put the gloves in the jaw, but once in, they don't come out until you want them to. It does the job well.
