flexible air ducts.: belts, hoses and pulleys

Air duct appears to be quite thin and very easy to rip or tear. I went ahead and used it but I don't know how long it will last without tearing. I would order a heavier air duct if it was offered, but I haven't seen any additional air ducts. I would pay more money for a better and more durable air duct.
