I was looking for a waterproof case for my iPad and I came across this gem. I wasn't necessarily looking for a "waterproof" case, but one that would protect against water ingress. I learned this lesson the hard way with a 9.7 inch iPad and a garden hose. I can't vouch for the water resistance of this case, and I'm not going to soak my 11-inch iPad just to find out. These waterproof test instructions are easy to read with charts.2. Lightweight and durable. Although I wish the rear end was tighter. The case with the iPad is pretty rigid; However, it can bend in a backpack or bag. Just be careful with it.3. It comes with a carrying strap and a stand. The strap is attached near the power button and DIAGONAL at the opposite end. There are no instructions on how to attach the strap, so it's up to you, but it's pretty easy to figure out. I want them to be on the same page. The strap is very thin and good. straps included. The stand is not attached to the case. So it's up to the user to decide whether to use it or not. I didn't attach mine, but it looks like you'll remove the cover from the base of the stand and glue it to the back of the case. The stand features a ring that allows you to open the stand for use or lock it when not in use. Seems to have 3 or 4 viewing angles but doesn't feel stable.4. When two parts of the case are put together, they are very difficult to separate, which is to be expected with a waterproof case. Those looking for an easy case replacement should look elsewhere, as a good waterproof case should be difficult to open. Remember that it is waterproof. Overall, this case is a cheaper alternative to those $150+ cases. Even with the protective glass installed, Face ID works flawlessly thanks to the factory screen coating (YMMV). The screen cover is a fingerprint magnet. The sides of the case feel solid and drop resistant. Leave the front and back as desired. I wish there was a latch on the lid to protect the screen during shipping. The buttons are hard to press, but hopefully that will change with time. The charging port has a cover that you can open to charge your iPad without removing it from the case. Remember to close it before swimming lol. The purchase is worthwhile.
