Rope smells of paint and repels
I received this product and right out of the box it smells strongly like it has been dipped in paint. I unpacked it and left it outside for a few days and the smell is still as strong as the day I received it. I replaced the damaged areas of my scratching post and brought it inside. Maybe just leave it outside for more ventilation. The product itself seems strong and durable and I won't know anymore until my cat decides to scratch it.
