So I'm comparing this to the BEST falsie effect mascara to date - Essence Lash Princess. MOST false eyelashes, but not really false eyelashes. I once had hair extensions done professionally and Essence asked me if I could get them back. so good. I'm comparing this to Essence. Almost the same! So for a washable option it's great. Essence is more difficult to remove as it is a "fibrous" type. It's comb type, like a wand versus a brush, and I figured it wouldn't mean much for the money, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had to apply about 4 coats to get the effect. It sure adds length, but for volume you definitely need more layers than usual. However, these coatings are very easy to apply, they don't stick at all, so it's really nice to have a buildable effect as you have the ability to go from casual to something more dramatic with just one product. again SUPER easy to apply. Although it does NOT say waterproof, I put some water on my lashes to see and it was fine. So I don't think a little moisture or sweat should be a problem. However, I have to say that it took a lot longer to dry compared to what I was used to. I did a comparison and it looks almost the same as the Essence but NOT as thick. so something is missing. but still a great product. The comb also helps separate the lashes as you apply, which is great for the bottom lashes!
