I LOVE this light! It turned the music video I shot into an amazing work of art. I mean I'm blown away. I can't wait to use it for something else artistic. I only bought one, but wish I'd bought two so I could highlight each side of my subject's face in a different color. (I'll buy another one.) So here's what I like: You can choose the color of the light to ONLY get the right shade. You can mix RGB colors in endless combinations or use the "standard" versions of each color. It is screwed to the tripod like a camera. there is optional daylight - that's why I bought it, but I ended up using warm light more often. It is lightweight and easy to move when taking photos. It's written cool because it's LED. if in nature. It has a number of pre-programmed settings that I haven't used yet but can: police lights, TV, candles; these are all variations of different shimmering colors. There are more, but I can't remember all of them. I didn't see it in the description so I wanted to mention it here. Problems: Take some time to learn how it works before you field it. It's not difficult, but some things are counterintuitive. For example to turn that color off you need to turn a color to 00 (zero) and you need to do this on EVERY channel and there are 9 channels. It was very confusing at first.
