LED garland? Check. change colors? Check. most of time. Well, something like that. Once in a while. It depends what day it is. Or what color underwear you wear. Or if Venus is retrograde. I bought a set of these lamps to test as possible candidates for lighting my patio. I would buy more if they checked it out. You are not. The lights are bright enough and the remote seemed to change colors but then. the lights have started to become slightly unresponsive and I'm only speaking after a few minutes of testing. 'Fade' mode works, but trying to use 'intermittent' mode fails completely. Instead, all lights turn white for half a second, then go off for half a second, then blink twice, then start over. There is no color change and the remote control stops responding (or the displays stop responding to the remote control). I've tried pressing the manual button on the plug to stop it, even unplugging and plugging it back in, but the lights keep flashing white. Eventually, and it's never clear what exactly makes them work together again, I get control back and can set the colors. However, I now notice that several nodes are the wrong color. You're not locked into one color, but what controls the brightness ratio for the RGB motes inside has gone astray and become a scam. Something spoils the "all the same color" impression. These flashlights are cheap so I'm not sending them back. They definitely won't be on my patio, but I'll use them elsewhere where they're far less demanding in terms of mood. use the remote control functions simply or not at all. And expect some individual nodes to get out of sync in color.
