My 3-year-old normally wears a size 9. It was slightly larger than the average size 9 shoe I bought, unexpectedly plenty of room . They're not that much bigger because they won't fall off his foot, they just have more room than the average size 9, which is good because I expect these shoes to last a bit longer when he's on his growth spurt and another will taller will. Shoe size 9. And my 3 year old loves them, he prefers them to his other shoes for the comfort and ease of walking and playing.
