Review on Razer Pro Click Wireless Gaming Mouse White by Stanislaw Stanislaw ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

Background: Used a 2022 Razer Mamba for 11 years. There was no reason to change it, it was completely fine, it is still working. And only frequent battery charging bothered. I even bought a Deathadder V2 Pro, but in essence you change the awl for another awl. The form is the same. Didn't even open it. When I saw the announcement of Pro Click, I immediately wanted to buy it. Finally something new. Light mouse on a light carpet. And the declared autonomy of 400 hours via bluetooth bribed. First I bought a Pro Glide carpet in October 2022, on which the mamba sensor began to blunt, work jerkily when moving slowly (when you need to close a window or tab in the browser, move the cursor to X and now 5 mm remains, move the mouse, and the cursor stays in place, infuriates wildly, despite the fact that on an old carpet or on a table without a carpet, the mamba does not blunt). I was waiting for the mouse to be delivered, and immediately bought it as soon as it went on sale. When I took it in my hand, I immediately felt the size - the mouse is larger than the mamba, it fills the hand completely, the hunchbacked back rests on the palm. The rubber sidewalls are comfortable and pleasant to the touch. The little finger does not drag on the carpet. I've been using it for a month now. It doesn’t get dull on the carpet, looks stylish, fits well in the hand, maybe it’s not very suitable for games because of the large size; finger grip is difficult for her to manipulate. The assembly is decent, it does not crunch, does not creak, the wheel does not rattle when scrolling up. Autonomy is on top, the mamba had to be charged every 2-3 days. The same one will have to be charged presumably once every 2-3 months. Let's see. I use bluetooth for maximum autonomy. In terms of the quality of the bluetooth / 2.4 wireless connection, the difference is only in the polling frequency, and the autonomy differs by 2 times. Exit from sleep via bluetooth - 3 sec, 2.4 each. - 1 sec. Could make a magnetic connector to connect the cable. For a month, nothing has broken or rubbed yet. In general, the mouse is of high quality, comfortable, holds a charge perfectly, it’s the most for work. And really wireless, without docking stations and dongles 20 cm from the mouse.

Pros
  • Designed 10 out of 10, the Pro Glide looks great on the original carpet, both in promotional photos and in real life. The ergonomics are good, the mouse is large, it fits tightly in the hand. Autonomy is amazing. I got 62% out of the box, without charging up to 100% I immediately started using it. Bluetooth connection lost 35% of the charge in 33 days, i. E. an average of one percent per day with 3-4 hours of real activity. Monitor with Mousotron.
Cons
  • The wretched wheel - metal with notches like a file, has sharp edges, from which at first it was not comfortable to use it and the finger even hurt. The scroll was tight and even the notches did not help, the finger just slid over them, because. metal, not rubber. Then, apparently, the wheel developed and after 2 weeks I got used to it. The wheel is shaped like a cone rather than a cylinder, as seen from the top and front views. And I still feel the shape of the cone, because the finger on the LMB touches the sharp left end of the wheel, which is unpleasant. Made apparently under the 1-3-1 grip, when the middle finger is always on the wheel, but with the 1-2-2 grip, the index finger has to be thrown over this ledge, and scrolling by the end is not comfortable. Also, the wheel has slopes to the sides, which, coupled with its shape, is not entirely logical, because. when you click on the scroll, the finger does not press strictly vertically, but at an angle, and can lead to pressing sideways. But so far there have been no false positives. There is built-in memory for one profile, and this is a plus, but everything spoils that not all settings are stored in memory, and for the sake of a couple of chips you have to use synapse. My previous mouse Razer Mamba stored any settings and macros. Synapse does not show percentage charge on Pro Click. Yes, only for Pro Click, for other mice with a battery it shows. The percentage of charge can be viewed in the windows settings in the device section, but only when connected via bluetooth.
