Appears to be of good quality. A template is required for the screw connection. FYI, this is a hub, not a serial connection.
The perfect size for the front presence speaker stand I made to illuminate the cabinet underneath. The adhesive pads were good quality 3M, easy to remove backings. For screwing you need a paper template for the drilling pattern. Was surprised by the hub wiring as the other shims were chained together for easier distribution.
