Review on BOCTOP Digital Alarm Clock Bedrooms by Joshua Castillo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Can be used as both a bedside clock and an office clock

This alarm clock was originally bought for my bedroom but has since migrated to my office due to its cool tech factor. The watch is powered via a USB cable with a round 5V DC connector that plugs into the back of the watch, but the other end is a standard Type-A connector, like 99 percent of USB cables. You can use a plug adapter with a female USB Type A socket to power the clock. I ended up using a multiport USB power hub I had on my desk. The numbers and symbols on the display are large and light blue, matching the decorative lighting of my keyboard and the desk below. The white bell icon at the top of the clock is spinning. The alarm is on and displays the alarm time, or displays OFF if disabled. I found that I can check the alarm volume with the call button. The volume knob is located on the bottom right of the clock, turn the knob down and press the bell to hear the softest tone, then turn the knob all the way to hear the loudest setting. The brightness slider is located above the volume slider to dim or brighten the display. Turning this knob all the way down will completely darken the clock display. The buttons on the back switch between C/F for the temperature and 12/24 for the current time. The clock stands upright and has rubber feet to keep it from sliding across my desk surface. The rear USB socket can be used to charge your phone with a 1A slow charge or to power another USB device. Thus, thanks to the black case and form factor, this clock has moved from the bed to the desk, thanks to the clock's useful function - a thermometer - and can be powered by a USB hub.
