I have not used this product in a normal application. Instead, I installed it on the ceiling (drilled through the studs) and mounted the ultra-wide monitors vertically. Worked great. Nice solid piece of metal. The only thing I would suggest is that VIVO have open holes at the top and bottom (and maybe in the middle) of the poll to let the HDMI (and power, maybe other cables) through to hide them. Other mounts (projector mounts, other monitor mounts) do this. Instead, VIVO uses these little clips (which are plastic, by the way, and can break) to hold these cables. 1 star deduction for that. If you provided us with cable management holes, some users may need your plastic clips (I wouldn't use them). I have also used this product. - Includes 2 through sockets, locking clips and a hole saw attachment. To form a circle/sleeve/spacer (basically a "trim" around the Vivo poll in my ceiling tile). That also worked great.
