I bought this mouse to replace an old Microsoft mouse I had. It works like you would expect a mouse to. I bought a Razer Pro Type and it looks good so I also bought a Razer Pro Click to complete the set. I'm a bit disappointed with the whiteness of the Razer Pro Type after purchasing the Pro Click. The Pro Click is a little more beige than white, and the metal frame surrounding it is polished chrome rather than the matte finish of the Razer Pro Type. Honestly, I like the color of the Razer Pro Click better. I don't know why Razer made them look different when they should belong to the same line. In terms of functionality, it works out of the box. I mainly use/connect it with my Windows laptop as I use the trackpad on my Mac. If I could easily switch the trackpad between different devices, I'd probably just stick with the trackpad. Speaking of switching, I'm not sure where the button to switch between devices is. The button is on the bottom of the mouse. If you need to switch to another device, you need to raise your mouse to click it. It's a little unwieldy compared to the Razer Pro Type, which uses a keyboard shortcut to switch between devices. An alternative placement is probably on the back ("tail") of the mouse - just a suggestion. Another suggestion is to pair the keyboard and mouse together so that when I switch the keyboard to another device, the mouse follows, rather than switching the mouse or keyboard individually. I have a few complaints about the mouse: 1. "Tracking" sensitivity - in my opinion, the jump from one setting to another is so great that I never have to use other settings above the lowest. Mouse wheel cannot be adjusted. Even with the Razer Synapse app installed, you cannot get the mouse wheel to scroll up/down faster than one line at a time. Razer Synapse allows you to change button bindings, but there's no way to change mouse wheel sensitivity. Another thing I want to tweak is the "gesture" left/right on the mouse wheel. Currently, it automatically repeats the action of the mouse wheel. It cannot scroll horizontally if a horizontal scroll bar is present. My Microsoft mouse does the same thing and I think it makes sense. I appreciate that you can scroll up/down repeatedly with a simple mouse action, but perhaps you have the ability to change this in Razer Synapse? The mouse has a very good battery life. Since I received the mouse about a month ago, I only had to charge it once after the initial charge. I didn't let her die completely when I plugged her back in, so I could probably wait a few more days before she actually dies on me. I don't know if the price of the mouse is justified given the features. it offers, but in terms of the features I'm looking for - the ability to connect to multiple devices and switch between those devices with the push of a button, it's probably expensive, but then again I used my points to buy this mouse I think it's worth throwing dust in your eyes.
