Review on Saucony Men's Fastwitch Performance Walking Shoe - Men's Athletic Footwear by John Hashman

I have been running Fastwitch for many years. I can't remember how many models I went through. You are always excellent. Very low weight with sufficient stability. This model has a much nicer design than before and, most importantly, a closed sole that prevents water from entering the shoe. I like it. Also note the improved grip compared to the Fastwitch 8. The only notable difference is that this model is significantly narrower, narrower at the front and also slightly shorter (all for the same shoe size). Maybe it's just the special shoe I received, but I need to keep the laces a bit loose. But it's not a problem. Update after running about 250 km in this shoe: I have problems with plantar fasciitis for the first time. I don't quite understand why but it's disappointing as I've been working with Fastwitch models for many years and never had a problem. I also use Saucony trail running shoes and have no problems with them.
