Review on QUALFORT Women'S Bamboo Nightgown - Short Sleeve Nightdress Soft Nightgowns V-Neck Sleepwear by Kim Gilbert

A Rather Form Fitting Nightgown

I normally wear an XL and ordered this nightgown in that size. It's oddly made and I honestly can't tell if the gown is too small or too big on me. First, it is not a loose or billowy gown. From the ribs up to the neck, the fit is loose and low cut. I don't dare bend over or the girls could escape. The short sleeves are not roomy and they are thick feeling because of the way the stripes have been sewn on. I have big arms and these sleeves are just barely big enough not to bind or pinch. Now, moving to the lower half of the gown, I'm confounded that as short as I am the gown is above my knees. It hugs my shape from my ribs to my hips with no forgiveness or grace in hiding my extra pounds. I refuse to call it flattering and it feels like I'm pulling a stretchy tube over my body to hide it. Black tends to conceal flaws in the figure but turn sideways and anyone can tell where those extra pounds are hanging around.I'm disappointed and in hindsight, should have paid more attention to the way the gown hangs on the zero body fat model. I saw a cute design and fell for it. Will I recommend this nightgown from QUALFORT? No, not for curvy girls. It is just ill proportioned enough to be uncomfortable but not so annoying that I'll get rid of it. The fact that it is made from cool, silky bamboo is it's only redeeming quality in my opinion.
