Currently every electronic device comes with a USB charging cable but rarely with a power outlet so it can be plugged into an outlet. So I need a charging station. I wanted one for my bedside table and specifically chose it because it has multiple USB ports AND a USB fast charge port. This was necessary for me as I use a Pixel phone. I also use other outlets to charge various other electronics like headphones, bluetooth speakers, etc. Unusually it shows output power while charging, but to be honest it's just a bonus for me.
