Bought two pairs, one for my son and one for my daughter. They were immediately put on and taken to the yard for a test run. I specifically buy rubber boots with straps because they are much easier to put on and take off yourself. When the kids came back, my daughter took off her shoe and showed me that the rivets on one strap had completely come undone. I found one of the houses. The other must be somewhere in the backyard. I am disappointed that they came loose within the first hour of purchase. Otherwise, children love both the light effects and every shoe. Sizing fits as expected with room to grow or the ability to wear thick winter socks. I hate returning a pair of boots, especially since our rainy season has just started. I may have to find a way to connect the strap.
