It gives the room so much warmth and happiness. I like its warm shine and soft shimmer. It also has amazing features: 1. I can turn it on and off with either the remote control or the small switch on the bottom. Big! Because the worst thing is having a device with a remote control and no alternative to turn it on or off if you lose the remote control.2. I can choose flickering or steady light. Great because sometimes I feel like shimmering and sometimes it annoys me hahaha. but overall it's great to have both as I love them both and use both.3. I can set it for a specific number of hours and not have to worry about turning it off. It can be set for two, four, six or eight hours to turn on with a single push of a button on the remote control. WONDERFUL4. I can turn it on and off with a tin remote control from my bed, chair, or sofa, and I don't have to make the pilgrimage there every time I want to use it. The TIMER is also great because I often use it as a reminder. If I want to remember to put the clothes in the dryer, I just turn it on for two hours, so that's my reserve. or when I need to make a call or go somewhere or do something. I turn it on for a certain number of hours just as a reminder. I like that very, very much! I am thinking of buying a few more for different rooms as well as a gift for the holidays. I wish they had other color combinations, like green and blue. turquoise or red with lilac or orange with lilac etc. they are incredibly beautiful. I love their stained glass look. It is NOT cheaply made but actually has a cracked texture with filler. It's very well done. EXPENSIVE looking and feeling product. LOVE IT and highly recommend.
