Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for a router, terrible for Windows 10

I had pretty high expectations when this tiny computer said 4k. In fact, when running 1080, there is quite a large lag between keyboard and mouse response. The processor boots very easily by running Windows updates. It's not the manufacturer's fault, but Windows 10 is bloated AF and Win11 won't be any better. Luckily that's not why I bought it. I only bought this to be a virtual box for hosting pfsense and TrueNAS and in that regard I can say they will install each one natively. ESXI does not boot from the installation USB, but Proxmox installs without problems. I had to add a disk to get a suitable disk pool, but after that it went wrong! Gig ports will push the gig. This small processor has enough room to run PFSENSE on 2 cores, one core for TrueNAS and one for Proxmox overhead. Works smoothly with no jitter and stuttering. It's very nice that you get a Win10 Pro license. I just want Windows Defender Antivirus to maintain CPU usage during backup. If you need a small web box that plays YouTube videos and runs a tab or two in Edge or Firefox, this box will do. If you want something reliable on Windows, this machine just doesn't have the ability to transcode or play a modern game. Hell, I wouldn't even try Starcraft 2 on this one, and it's been ten years.

Pros
  • HD graphics and dual HDMI
Cons
  • Almost never
