Review on 2X4Basics 90124 ShelfLinks Custom Storage by Christina Adams

These 2x4basics ShelfLinks are high quality, durable resin construction. Tested dimensions: 5.0 x 3.0 x 15.5 inches (WxHxD) for each part. Bought two sets of 6. Each set of 6 pieces. ShelfLinks had a bag of Phillips screws in each box (82 screws in one box, 86 in another). Very happy with the product. Use for shelves that can withstand significant weight. Combined with 2x4's that can be stored in large boxes, you can cut the required length, making it very easy to assemble a very strong shelf. I recommend pre-drilling (smaller than the bolt diameter) for each bolt used to prevent splitting 2x4's (I've used standard pine, cheap studs and they're more prone to splitting). I used an inverted pair of these shelf connectors as the "legs" for the shelf to add stability to the final unit. For me at least, these 2x4basics ShelfLinks components were worth every penny, looked clean, and made my storage shelf easy to assemble.
